When they are younger I was a get-'er done kinda gal. But then, I'm definitely more meticulous with my sewing--as long as the food tastes good, I don't care as much if it looks pretty!Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09913795373618902575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278085019370560632.post-56775109635870065142011-02-09T19:28:12.287-05:002011-02-09T19:28:12.287-05:00Just like cooking, I have projects where I am meti...Just like cooking, I have projects where I am meticulous and then there are the quick and dirty "that'll do" projects....and meals;-)Jane Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10236298438179825569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278085019370560632.post-19958241264061746362011-02-09T18:50:35.773-05:002011-02-09T18:50:35.773-05:00Humm, I'm definitely not a better cook because...Humm, I'm definitely not a better cook because of sewing, but am a better eater, since I tend to grab junk food and eat it while I sew. At one time I loved to cook but since I have been on a sewing blitz it is an effort to defrost something or call for take-out. I get enthused about a sewing project and could care less about anything else (household stuff that is) While I certainly understand what you are saying, I would have to say "No," I am not a better cook from sewing! If I thought about it at all later, I'd enjoy the feeling that I was getting away with something. Granted, I now do less that should be unpicked, on the whole. But really, I've learned to be quite comfortable with good enough.Marie-Christinenoreply@blogger.com
