I'm late in reading your blog. I'm so very sorry for the loss of this loved one. I had to make the same decision for my much loved Eric. He was 19 and he'd had a great life, but it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Even now, after 5 years, it still makes me cry. Be kind to yourself in the coming weeks. Plant a tree for Sir Thomas. Sending cyber hugs.
