So I'm in the market for a new machine. Also, I have, officially, retired. I just haven't stopped going in (at least for the next two weeks).Lisa and Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17857077701513254469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278085019370560632.post-83844116225702899142013-05-28T19:46:12.073-04:002013-05-28T19:46:12.073-04:00That was my first machine! Mine did break eventually, but only after a rather abusive bout of sewing through sequins. I found it cheaper to replace than repair, so I totally understand your logic. I hope you like it when you get it. The buttonholes were nice when I used mine.T. With the amount of sewing that you do, you may have to replace it more frequently than those of us who just plod along.Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08501837896957263739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278085019370560632.post-68932064119257201822013-05-24T19:52:04.459-04:002013-05-24T19:52:04.459-04:00I have that machine and LOVE it. For the type of sewing you're now doing, it would probably handle it better and the machine would be able to do the every day sewing. While the brother has good reviews it won't hold up to the sewing you're going to use it for, IMHO.Carolyn (Diary of a Sewing Fanatic)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02204627216540667980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278085019370560632.post-18169979387234905922013-05-24T07:15:22.212-04:002013-05-24T07:15:22.212-04:00At the quilting and sew expo I went to a few weeks...At the quilting and sew expo I went to a few weeks ago, a multi brand dealer told me that the new brothers are on par with Janome and some of the computerized Berninas.

I just replaced my serger and I'm waiting a few more months before I replace my Kenmore.

Hope you enjoy your new machine!cidellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13762649326538041094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278085019370560632.post-36860145993055966642013-05-24T01:25:10.721-04:002013-05-24T01:25:10.721-04:00I love my Brother.
