Public Service Announcement: Coming Soon

Almost a year ago, I started a second blog for my handmade business, due in part to some snarky comments I received about the increasing frequency of my "crafty" posts, and also, legitimately, in an effort to keep my personal sewing and my business sewing separate.

It hasn't worked out quite the way I intended.  This blog has suffered from lack of content, as you might have noticed by my series of cat posts this year.  (And thank you to everyone who read, and commented on those -- the cats thank you, as well).  The second blog has had more posts, but I feel like there's less of me in it.  I've spent years building this one, and my history is here.

Bear says, "I'll have none of your snark."

So.  I'll be transitioning back to one blog, and the posts from the second blog which are not duplicates will be moved here as well.  I'm only sorry that I can't move the comments over with the posts.  If there's a way to do that, I don't know it, and at this point, decision having been made, I'd rather just move forward.

If there's anything wonky-looking going on, it's because I'm tinkering.  Hopefully things will be normal soon.

Or at least as normal as it gets when I'm involved.

I shaking my head that anyone would leave a snarky comment about your business sewing. I enjoyed seeing and reading about that side of your sewing life (cute teddy bears by the way). And I miss reading the chicken coop stories.

I've rarely commented but have always enjoyed your posts, no matter what the topic. Plus I grew up in Bryn Mawr so you bring a touch of Philly for me.

I say "do whatever works for you!" It's your blog and who makes the snarkers the blog police? If they don't like it they don't have to read it. I quit reading some blogs because of the content, but I don't leave nasty comments. After all, it's the blogger's blog! Not reading is my choice.
